STORY
InYoun Skin was founded by Michelle Soo In Lee, a psoriasis warrior, after she and her twin sister were both diagnosed with Plaque and Guttate Psoriasis in 2019. Frustrated by products that offered only temporary relief—or worse, caused more irritation—they set out to create what they couldn’t find: gentle, clinically supported skincare made for sensitive, reactive skin.
Drawing from her Korean heritage and deep knowledge of K-beauty, Michelle turned to South Korea to develop InYoun’s first product designed to bring real comfort to skin, and peace of mind to those who live in it.
The name InYoun (인연) comes from a Korean word that speaks to serendipitous connection—how people or paths are meant to cross. In Korean culture, it reflects fate, healing, and the unseen ties that bring us to where we need to be. For Michelle and Soo Youn, InYoun represents the invisible thread that connects their personal story to the people their products now serve.
